What Is VOIP?

Voip (Voice Over Internet Protocol) has been maturing over the last couple of years.

In simple terms it's sending voice traffic (whether from a PC or a normal telephone handset) over an internet connection.

A common misconception is that you have to replace existing phones systems (PBX) and handsets. Not true. SGJ Solutions understands the large capital expenditure that is incurred when installing a phone system in an office. Which is why we can design (in conjunction with your existing telephone system maintainer) a VOIP gateway product on to your existing infrastructure to allow inter office calls (including faxes) to route over the internet.

Allowing for your internet connectivity costs the calls are effectively free.

In the UK the savings can be substantial, but if your offices are in Europe or beyond then the savings can be even more attractive.
