Abingdon And Witney College

19 February 2007

When Abingdon And Witney College opened a new farm campus with a dedicated data connection back to the main campus they assumed it would be very easy to use Voip to provide telephony to the new campus.
Well yes unless you talk to companies other than SGJ Solutions.
All other suppliers indicated that the only way to Voip enable both sites was to replace the existing traditional pbx at Witney, this was contary to budget limitations the college was under.
However luckily the college was introduced to SGJ Solutions, after a brief project meeting a decision was taken to use the hybrid solution from SGJ Solutions.

I will allow Linda Hardie Network Manager at Abingdon And Witney College to comment on the solution

"No other supplier had even considered using a Voip Gateway - it seems so obvious now. I suspect they all felt the Goldstar was too old to do anything with and were only interested in trying to replace it with something new. That would have been simply unacceptable and I'm delighted that Steve Jones introduced us to VegaStream's products and the IP PBX"

Connectivity Through Simplicity
